One Scary Fact!

I'm worried sick! Takutnya.... With recent situation where everything is still uncertain. I'm talking about the economic unstable situation. Whether we like it or not we have to redah ja. But having a partner who's working in an industrial sector, that would be a nightmare for us. Alhamdullillah I'm a government servant but God forbid if anything happens to my hubby's factory. So far so good and Alhamdullillah for that. But the future is uncertain for everybody right now. Just now in the news INTEL has closed their branch in Penang and followed by 2 INTEL factories in US and China.
All these while we have been sharing every single penny that we earn. We have agreed on that from the day we got married. I really really really hope that Allah will protect us from dealing that kind of barriers...

What else can we do except to pray to Allah? Pray very very hard! And I believe that's the best thing that we can do right now.....

LOVE OF A LIFETIME

I guess the time was right for us to say

We'd take our time and live our lives

Together day by day

We'll make a wish and send it on a prayer

We know our dreams can all come true

With love that we can share

With you I never wonder--will you be there for me

With you I never wonder--you're the right one for me

I finally found the love of a lifetime

A love to last my whole life through

I finally found the love of a lifetime

Forever in my heart

I finally found the love of a lifetime

With every kiss, our love is like brand-new

And every star up in the sky

Was made for me and you

Still we both know that the road is long

We know that we will be together

Because our love is strong

I finally found the love of a lifetime

A love to last my whole life through

I finally found the love of a lifetime

Forever in my heart

I finally found the love of a lifetime

I personally love this song by Firehouse. Before I met Rizal I had promised myself that I would dedicate this song to my loved one and he..he.. boy, I did. He also has his song for me and guess what was it? KC & Jojo - All my life! Tak romantik langsung! Anyway, I do accept him for what and who he is. This September marks our 10th anniversary and how time flies.

I actually met him in UKM and he was in the same Kamsis with Siti. She was the match maker la kekononnya. Our first date was in Beranang when he volunteered to send CT, Dla and myself there for our practical. The rest is history! I know he is not perfect in so many ways (who is?) but believe me he is my love of a lifetime...

Adia's Qiraati Update

Here's some stars for you Adia!

She started her Qiraati Class on 24th November 2008 and is doing very very well. Got herself some friends and she also assists her ustazah in teaching young students to recite Quran verses. Adia, I'm so proud of you and i know you started late but you managed to catch up with the rest of your friends. Congratulations and do keep up the good work :)

St. Patrick

And this is my first entry for 2009. I survived the first 5 days of schooling. As usual I'm teaching Form 5 and Form 4. What's new? Still the KP, still Ketua Pentaksir Kawasan, SPBT teacher and still going on strong (insyaAllah). So far so good. But after 5 hectic days, I totally surrender and took my first nap Thursday and woke up grumpily. It was not nice eh? It's Friday now and I got my much needed rest.
I did ask for transfer last year but again they rejected the application. I've been in the same school for the last 9 years and getting sick and tired of the situation. Students come and go but I'm still there teaching. On Tuesday my ex-student Ridhwan Saidin came to school. He's doing his TESL in Australia and I'm so proud of him as he says that I'm his inspiration..Ha....ha.. perasan sat but come to think of it, I'm kinda glad that he turned out to be ok. As for the rest of my students? well, some are doing well in Uitm and Poli, but majority of them are either Met Rempits or working in factories here in Kulim. Most of the girls are now married with children but they are not doing well in lives.
I will not ask much from my present students as I know they are weak and English is their third language after BM and Tamil. What I need from them is to concentrate in the class and not to misbehave in class. As for the boys, please do not fool around thinking that you people are so great. You guys don't even have sijil SPM, comprehend?

Sunday

It has been a while since I last posted my entry in the blog. No. not busy but lazy! Anyway, just came back from Alor Setar visiting my parents and spent 2 nights there with them. Nothing much to be told as things are as usual. Watched Mawi and Ekin tied the knot on tv. Rizal kutuked them but I don't care. Mawi has the right to choose his bride and he chose Ekin. Ok la. He calls me fanatik Mawi and I just don't care..hee...he... Lantak ler, jealous la tu!

This 26th December we'll be going to KL as he has to attend this school reunion on the 27th. Taking the chance to do a year end shopping with my sister (and to spend my duit bonus jgk) and also have promised Adia to go to Aquaria la Petrosains la. I'm thinking of going back to Bangi ( down memory lane la konon) but can't do that due to time constraint.

I had my dinner outside just now. Had myself a bowl of moi sup that turned out to be tasteless and watery with bits of chicken and a pinch of chilli powder. It's RM3 per bowl. Mahainya..But it's okay since I felt full too.

Today was a productive day as I went to Adia's school to purchase her exercise books and sports attire ( need to change the size every year.. hee.....hee... anak mak-kembang!) and went to her WKE to pay for her transit fees for January 2009. Everthing was settled. I can sleep well tonight ;)

Not to sound bitter but....

Don't u know that everything happens for a reason and Allah knows what's the best for us. Lately, I've been bombarded with questions of "pasai apa anak sorang?", " la.. sorang ja anak?" etc.
Arrrggghhhh.. tension!! First, I managed to keep calm and answered "tak dak rezeki lagi" but after a while, I tend to lose it man!

What am I suppose to tell them? It's not within my power to actually get another child. Only God knows I try. I really am trying but still to no avail. I'm extremely happy with one child right now and having another one would be a blessing and I am grateful. But it's difficult to shut people's mouth. True, they have the right to say anything but they DO NOT have the right to hurt my feelings....

It hurts more when all the remarks come from relatives from both sides, mine and his. The "best" would come from a cousin of his, at their grandma's funeral! "Awat slow sangat?" What kind of person is that? Ok. She has 4 beautiful kids and good for her but she doesn't have to make that kind of statement or something like that.

People would never believe that I actually come from a family of 12! And I'm no.12. Guess, I am not like my mom. Fertile!

Just gimme an idea or two on how to face this kind of people as I'm already losing it.....
