and my favourite kuih putu kacang....

makan Ayam Masak Merah with...

ketupat daun palas...

and chat and chat with my beloved sisters......

But this year, there will be one important agenda to do....

to visit my mum....

Tahun ni first time raya mak tak da,nanti balik Alor Setar mak tak ada lagi dalam bilik,

semuanya ok di sini.

So, untuk bulan puasa ni, aim aku ialah nak penuhkan sembahyang Tarawih. Kelas USM pun habis awal so boleh balik and perform Tarawih at home or at the mosque. InsyaAllah.... :)

p.s : Pesanan untuk diri sendiri, jangan sedih2 dalam bulan puasa ni Shahid ya?

Green!

Green with envy to be exact! There's this one teacher in my school, cantik and she's rich! and stylo and pretty and busuk nya hati!! Wrong sequence connector there, supposed to use "but"..stylish, pretty BUT busuknya hati!! So I name her Cikgu X

What happened was, my other fellow teacher, we shall call her Cikgu Z, bought a new MPV. Nice ride for a big family like hers. So she drove to school yesterday. Kami pun apa lagi, went out from the staff room to admire and to check out her new ride. Ya la, happy for my friend as she only drove an old car before this. Mula la puji-pujian as that car is REALLY nice and big!

Suddenly, this Cikgu X came and gave negative comments about the car, minyak diesel cepat rosak, body macam bus mini, bunyi macam lori, kalau start mesti jerking dulu baru jalan and so on. She also mentioned that it was a waste to spend RM150k for a car like that.

Allahhuakbar! I swore I saw Cikgu Z's face , totally changed! She was happy a moment ago and then someone came and stole her moment. It was an awkward situation at that time and no one dared to say a word.

I knew I had to do something so I said to Cikgu X " Hang dengki la tu! Bukan boleh tengok orang lebih pada hang kan? Ikut suka dia la nak beli apa pun. Ada dia mintak duit tu kat hang ka?"

Oh! Sorry ya if it sounds harsh to you but memang puas hati and other teachers started to laugh. Lagi la sakit hati dia! She was so pissed off and left the parking space! Dia ja yang ada perasaan, orang lain tak ada ka? Fikir la sikit!

Then, we continued to belek2 the car..hehehe

I'm supposed to start writing my thesis right now but here i am, blogging! Hiesh... very very difficult to get away from the pc. Kalau buat keja tak pa jugak kan.

But really need to let out what i feel inside. Lately, i feel like a zombie. Morning, drive to school, teaching, panitia files etc. Afternoon, fetch Adia and send her to taska. Drive home and off to usm. Lectures and tutorial and presentation and group discussion. Don't even have time to go back to A.S. Tu yang macam zombie tu. But no complaints and please don't whine Shahida Hassan as these things u cari sendiri kan?? Keep in mind, this is for your own good, this is for your own good..

Ya Allah, berilah aku kekuatan dan kesabaran dan yang paling penting TENAGA sb i'm bloody tired right now!

ULKCP

Once a year, we, a group of English teachers in Kulim will assess students from sekolah agama around Kulim Bandar Baharu for The English Oral Assessment . It is a fun thing to do where we would be away from our schools for a week and go to these rural schools.

For this year, we went to 2 schools - SMA Islahiah, Kg Dingin in Mahang and Maktab Mahmud in Bandar Baharu.

Students in Maktab Mahmud are selected students where the school only accept those with 5As to 2As in UPSR as their students. We had no trouble assessing them.

But, it's totally a different story in SMA Islahiah, Kg Dingin. This school is a small school with only 16 form five students. Their level of proficiency is really low. There was this one boy, he did not know what "rumah" is in English.. Kesian betul..I couldn't really tell whether he was nervous that he couldn't utter a word but come to think of it, house is a very common word, budak 3 or 2 y.o pun tau..

And the girls.., we had to force them to speak louder! They were like whispering! They were able to answer our questions after 2 3 times of "please speak louder"..

And who's to be blamed??

Love Of My Life

Seriously, she's growing up,fast! Takut.. I'm losing my little girl. This evening she put some lipgloss on her lips...:)

Well, she loves Lady Gaga, and I think she likes Zac Efron too but she obviously denies it! She cried when Argentina lost the other day ;p

She doesn't really look like me,huh? Nampak nerd sikit with the specs..huhuhu...

But seriously, her perangai is totally me!

One thing about her her, she's very compassionate especially to old folks and I really really like that!

I really hope she grows up to be a good person inside out....

And I love her soooo much....muahhh!!
